With the fragrance of osmanthus and the gentle breeze, the fourth Staff Skills Competition of Kingdecor opened on the morning of October 9, 2022. The opening ceremony was attended by Ning Xiaoming, member of the Party organization/vice chairman of the Quzhou Federation of Trade Unions, Peng Binghua, director of the Qujiang District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Wu Saifeng, director of the Division of Economic Affairs of the Quzhou Federation of Trade Unions, Hong Lingzhi, head of the Professional Capacity Building Section of the Qujiang District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Wang Jin, General Manager of Kingdecor, Xu Kuangrong, manufacturing director, staffs of the competition organizing committee and representatives of the contestants.

At the meeting, Wang Jin, the General Manager, first extended a warm welcome to the leaders of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau for their coming to guide the Skills Competition. General Manager Wang stressed the importance of learning skills for employees and the importance of skilled workers for the future development of Kingdecor. He also thanked all leaders for their participation and supervision to make the competition more strict and standardized, and said that the company strives to create a fair, equitable and reasonable selection mechanism for employees. Mr. Wang believed that the competition could promote the enthusiasm and team cohesion of the skilled workers of all posts. Finally, Chairman Ning and Director Peng wished all the staff of Kingdecor gain good results in the competition.

Xu Kuangrong, the manufacturing director, announced the end of the competition. After that, the theoretical examination was started in different job categories. The examination will be held at the same time in the dining room on the second floor and the meeting room on the fourth floor. To ensure fairness and justice, all participants should hand in their mobile phones and materials to the invigilators.

Finally, I would like to briefly explain here: in this competition, there are a total of 369 players, and nine types of jobs are involved, including color expert, paper machine operator, grinder, rewinder worker and packer, electrician, mechanic, lifting and loading machinery operator (forklift operator), chemical inspector (paper inspector) and crane operator. They will show their skills through their theoretical knowledge and practical operation. Let’s look forward to their competition. Stay focused on them!
